Here's a tip: lose some weight

This I just read the only article that didn't piss me off just now. A bunch of U.S. companies are going to start giving their employees who travel abroad guides on how to not act like an "ugly American". link That's nice but I have a better idea, find the biggest dumbass your company might have employed, get and send him with the normal employee to make them look better by comparison.

Abraham Lincoln's Doctor's Dog

So I going through a couple of best-sellers list looking for something new to read because I'm bored. I noticed that a crap ton of the books up there are basically clones of the Da Vinci Code. It was an ok book and it was ridiculously popular for some reason, but that doesn't explain why there are at least 4 or 5 books on each list with basically the same plot. If I was writing a book now I would just ad in some bullshit about Vatican conspiracies and secrets in Renaissance art just so it would sell more. Cus I gots to get paid. I think this is just the 00's (or naughty oughties if you will) version of all the grey alien and government cover up crap from the 90's/

Youtube is down

YouTube being down makes me sad inside. Also I just noticed how veiny the tops of my hands are. I plowed very nicely through my big scary long ass todo list this week. I also got a haircut and saw V for Vendetta. I liked it, I'm not bother if a comic book adaptation changes things up a bit, as long as they don't completely fuck it up. I'm pretty sure I had other things to say. Oh well.

I generally will automatically like anything with saphic imagery in it. But this is actually a really good song.

Dating websites

I got bored so I went and found a bunch of random dating websites.

First up: Gothic/Industrial Dating Konnection. It's kinda hard to be all stereotypically depressed and nihilistic when the giant blinky popup say you just won a plasma tv. This turned out to be an unreadable and broken piece of crap so I went looking for something else.

Next, matchstd.com, I didn't feel like registering to actually look at anything, I don't want the government agents that read my email thinking I have anything. They help you find love with people that have the same cooties as you. I liked their slogan, "free, anonymous, love... uncomplicated" That's heart-warming right there.

I'm realizing now that these niche dating sites really suck, Randroids have The Atlasphere, There's some sort of one for autistic people, here, which only had one member, that's rather depressing. And there's a bunch for people who are into stuff like MMORPGS and anime. Man this sucked, this was the worst idea for an article ever.

Orange Juice

I don't know why this is but people who can't drink orange juice annoy that crap out of me. Any time I hear somebody say something like " I can't drink orange juice, it's too acidic." I get mad for no reason. I think this probably has something to do with the fact that there is this one person I know who said this and I really don't like that person.

But cruelty is what makes it delicious

I just read a couple articles on In vitro grown meat. Seen here and here. They kind of dashed my dreams of a bedside bacon fablab. You still need some animal cells that are put in a matrix of collagen and then bathed in nutrients and then it grows into meat, kind of sort of not really. And since you still need animal cells it craps up the whole cruelty free angle. Oh well.

I keep having no energy. I'm all tired and shit. I think it's all the dirty electricity. I should build a special suit or something and just wear it. I did a little quick research and I could just install some filters so it wouldn't be a problem but that just isn't as fun looking. I think I'll also work a filter mask into it (allergies you see. also bird flu) and then I can be a crazy shut-in who looks like a 90's superherocostumed adventurer*.


*I'm to poor to get sued.

Procrastination

I have way too much to do and shit keeps happening that keeps me from doing it.
